Divergent By Veronica Roth

Today I'm going to be reviewing "Divergent" by Veronica Roth. Let me start of this review by saying. AMAZING!! I love this book and it's the best distopian novel I've read other than "The Hunger Games" of course. In this book it follows a girl named Beatrice, or Tris afterwards. In this life the world is set up into different factions. Amity, Abnegation, Dauntless, Candor, and Erudite. Amity is basically farm life, Abnegation is selflessness, Dauntless is courage/fearlessness, Candor is honesty, and Erudite is knowledge. Once you turn sixteen you take a test to tell you which faction you are most suited for. Then afterwards you can pick to either stay with your family, or change factions, which is considered betrayal. When Tris take's this test she is told that she is a Divergent. She is also told to never, ever tell anyone that. A divergent is someone who is not meant for one specific faction, she is fit for Erudite, Dauntless, and abnegation all in one. Tris ends up deciding that she can not go on with her life being so boring and being so selfless. She feels that she was never good at being an abnegation, no matter how hard she tried. She chooses Dauntless. As she says in the book "I am selfish. I am brave" I always say to myself I am dauntless that part is one of my favorite quotes in this book. The rest of the book is Tris's journey of becoming a dauntless. The mystery, the romance, the action in this book has you on the edge of your seat the entire time your reading it. I completely and utterly recommend this book.

Hes SO not worth it By Kieran Scott

In this blog I'm going to be reviewing "He's So not worth it" By Kieran Scott. This is the sequel to "She's So dead to us" and again, besides the petty name this book was super good. I probably cried 4 times...but that's just me and my love for love. Jake and Ally are fighting...again. She's mad at him...again. I swear to God some force of anti-love just keeps pulling them apart. I mean Jake is CRAZY about Ally, never once did he hate her. But he always does something that pisses her off. Ally's former friends are not as harsh on her in this book, but Ally is not forgiving or trusting, she's learned better. You meet a new group of people in this book, The locals. Mainly Cooper, Ally's 'Boyfriend' and Jenny Coopers sister. I liked Cooper at first, I was still hoping for Jake (Ok i wrote Archer before. That is a true sign of how obsessed i am with Hex Hall )  to come and beat the dude up but I still liked Cooper. But eventually Cooper turns out into a jerk. I've already described all the other characters. But Ally's dad comes back in the end of the book previous to this one and the entire book he tries to wiggle his way back into Ally's life. Although he's not successful, he definitely won my heart. These books are well written, and the characters develop amazingly. You can see how much Jake alone develops amazingly. He goes from the guy who never goes and begs for a girl to the guy who is madly in love and needs her back. He's proud of his decisions and never looks back. It makes me feel like I'm so proud of him. This book is definitely recommended by me, but of course this is the second book so you would have to read "She's so dead to us" first which I have already reviewed. I recommend this series for sure.

Spellbound by Rachel Hawkins

Today I will be reviewing Spellbound By Rachel hawkins. This is the 3rd book of the Hex Hall series and I previously reviewd DemonGlass, the second book. This book actually doesn't come out until March 13th but since i have a kindle I can get a book a couple of weeks early. So if your going to be going out and buying a physical copy you might have to wait a week. Again, as all the books in this series it was pheominal. I loved how there was a mix of action, love, and magic. Sophie is still an awesome character even when her powers a locked inside her. So now im going to do a spoiler alert right now. So i definetley reccomend this book if you want to read it so...Don't read further if you haven't read the book's yet. Ok. Am i the only one who cried for an hour when I read that Cal had died for Sophie? I'm sorry its just I was in shock. Moving on, I';m happy with the ending of this book for once. It's not a major cliff hanger that makes you want to cry because you have to wait another year for the next book. This ending is nice, and clean, and it makes me happy. I was extremely happy when Archer said "You have a stupid arrogant former demon hunter whos stupidly in love with you" that made me happy. The book was well written and Sophie's sarcasm was certainly there coverng up when she's nervous or scared. I love the charcters i love the plot line. I love everything.

This book DEFINELY gets a 5 out of 5

She's SO dead to us By Kieran Scott Review

Today I will be reviewing, "She's So Dead to us" by Kieran Scott.

Summary: Ally Ryan was a crestie, she lived in a mansion had an amazing life and lived in the same place since she was born. She grew up with her friends Hammond, Chloe, Faith, The idiot twins, and Shannen they were best friends, no, they were family. They spent every summer at LBI and lived on the same street. They shared everything, did everything together, and not a week passes that they didn't talk to each other or see each other. They went on vacations together and had traditional Sunday dinners. But one day Ally's dad made a bad investment with his and all her friends money. They all lost millions of dollars. Ally's parents picked up their things and moved away within one night. Leaving behind everything and Ally didn't even say goodbye to her friends. Her dad took off not telling Ally and her mom where he was going and they spent 1 year trying to keep it together. Everything seemed alright until Ali's mom decided to move back to Orchard Hills. Ally was iffy about the idea, her mom loved the idea. But her old friends. HATED the idea. Jake moved into Ally's old house and a little love is in the air. But Ally's old friends would rather die before Ally and Jake became of 'thing'.

My Opinion:  Now other than the cheesy/petty title, the book is actually REALLY good. Of course I'm a sucker for the whole "Secret love" stuff but its still a really good book. The main character Ally is actually a really awesome character. I'm a girl,and I think she's hot. I actually find her really relate able, but i don't know how. Some how Kieran made a girl in a impossible situation with a hard shell really likable. And Jake, Oh My gosh Jake, I love him so much. The book is written in two different perspectives, Jake's and Ally's, and it's really entertaining because the denial that's happening get totally erased when the other thinks about it. For example if Ally is thinking "oh Jake hates me" When its Jake's perspective he'll say he's got it bad for her. It gives the book more depth because Ally perceives Jake as a typical rich dude but when you hear Jake think you get the exact opposite opinion. They both have a tough and cocky exterior but inside have depth and worry's and it makes you just love them. If there's one thing I hate its cliff hangers and this one has a MAJOR one, so the next book is called, "He's So not worth it" I'm currently reading that one and my Kindle says I'm 26% in so when I'm done I'll review that one as well. The book is an amazing read and I totally recommend it, there's still drama and pettiness but the book also has depth. 4 out of 5 stars FOR SURE.

Killer By Sara Shepard #6 From the PLL series

Disclaimer: Spoilers. If u r reading or planning on reading these books...I've warned u ;)

I know I haven't blogged in forever but school got REALLY busy so..but I'm going to try to get out a whole bunch of reviews done... So lets start with Killer by Sara Shepard.  Here's what it says on the Back:

"ROSEWOOD, PENNSYLVANIA,SEEMS PICTURE PERFECT. BUT PICTURE'S OFTEN LIE- AND SO DO ROSEWOODS FOUR PRETTIEST GIRLS.
Hanna's on a mission to corrupt Rosewoods youth- starting with a very attractive sophomore. Aria's snooping into her boyfriends past. Spencer's stealing... from her family. And pure little Emily's abstaining from abstinence.
Tsk, tsk, tsk. These pretty little liars should be careful. Sure, The old A is dead. But there's a new A in town turning up the heat. And this time Rosewoods gonna burn.
                                               ~A"

So the back certainly does the book justice Especially the turning up the heat and Rosewood's gonna burn part. The book starts off the way all the books start (As i have mentioned and explained before) a flash back to when Ali was alive and a story that the entire book revolves around. This story is when Aria, Spencer,Hanna, Emily, and Ali are in grade 6 and are not yet friends, grade 6 is the first grade you are allowed to participate in the 'Time Capsule flag' game. Where clues are posted and the school flag is cut up into different pieces and are hidden. The goal is to find the different pieces, people who find a piece of the flag has their name put on a plaque and you decorate the flag piece you found, and then the flag will be sewn back together and put in a time capsule, people who find a piece of the flag  are LEGENDARY. So of course, Ali gets a piece of the flag, claiming Jason (Her older brother) hid one of the pieces and told her where to find it. Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily all went to Ali's house the next day to retrieve the flag. And Ali explained that it had been stolen from her. Which is allowed in the game. The clues of the book and the thoughts all go back to that day and what happened. What they found was that Jason and Darren Wilden (Officer Wilden) were friends in high school and have some link to Ali's murder, or at least have something hidden. Now the ending to this book is incredible and a twist is something I did NOT see coming. Someone set fire to a barn that the girls were in and Aria rescued a girl in the forest that was in trouble. Later on when they were out of the fire they took the hood down and the face was...Ali's. Ya. I know what your thinking. "BUT ALI"S DEAD" well i doun'tt know the answer because that's where Killer ends and Heartless starts, i have an idea as to what happened...but thats something you have to figure out yourself....Happy reading.

Wicked by Sara Shepard a Pretty little Liars novel- Book review

Today I am going to be reviewing a book, Wicked by Sara Shepard, The 5th book of the Pretty Little Liars series. And boy did the one before it leave some twists and answers that were making you pound on the book screaming "WHYYYYYYY" now before I go any further let me give you a disclaimer SPOILER

ALERT!!! If you want to read this book than stop now because I am going to summarize this totally. Ok. The books starts how all the books usually start, a story from the past (their usually my favorite part of the book) The chapter gets the ball rolling and explains most of the book, if this story wasn't told you wouldn't understand the book because usually the evidence they find or the things that happen are related to the story in the beginning. So the beginning story is about a time capsule flag thing happening yada yada yada, Ali comes strolling in and tells everyone that SHE is going to find a piece of the flag, because her brother is hiding a piece, than Ian comes in and tells her that someone might go and steal it because of her bragging, she said someone would have to kill her, Ian said "If that's all it takes" this relates to the book by a picture, a drawing, and the DISGUST that all the girls have (Hanna, Aria, and Spencer) because they thought Ian wanted to kill her than. Ya. Again if you haven't read the books and want to or are on the second book or something STOP! NOW! OK!! ok. Now this book is one of the most suspenseful books of the series...well actually the ending is, other than Unbelievable of course...that ending is unbelievable. Mona, Mona, Mona, *Shakes*head*. Anyway, The girls are closer in this book but they still have their separate lives. And amazingly Sara Shepard found MORE secrets that the girls were hiding...and gave them new ones, how many secrets can one girl have? Can you tell me that. Hanna is literally clawing herself back up to popularity and would do ANYTHING! Aria likes and almost kissed a guy that her mom ended up dating. Emily keeps on switching teams (PICK ONE!! ARE YOU BI, LES, OR STRAIGHT!! SERIOUSLY) And Spencer is potentially adopted. Actually no she IS adopted. The ending is scary, crazy, flippen horrible, and happy at the same time. The last words of the book?

Who was close to tears? ME!? *sigh* Thats it. Read the series. I got two GUYS in my class reading it so I think you can at least try it. It gets better and better so tough out any boring parts!!! READ IT! NOW!!

M.A.C Limited addition FAFI doll collection- Review

Today I am going to review something that you are going to hate me for reviewing. Because this is limited addition, and its a long gone collection, The FAFI doll collection

Theres actually three dolls in the collection (Green dress, Blue dress, Black dress) but the black one was very popular and it was sold out. I was very young when this collection came out but my mom bought the dolls for me because she knew I would love them, I loved makeup and was very interested in MAC (I still am) but my mom also got a whole bunch of stuff from the collection that she never touched, I found this in my house and absolutely love it

Top left; Vanilla, Top right; Hey, Bottom left; Pink Venus, Bottom Right;  HOWZAT

The colors are not very matte and they are very sheer on but I love them, Vanilla and Hey go perfectly together and HOWZAT is perfect for a eyeliner, I use Pink Venus if I want to add extra shimmer to a look, but they all have sparkles in them, here are swatches

Top: Vanilla, Bottom: Pink Venus

Top: Hey, Bottom: HOWZAT

Pink venus is very very sheer so I dont use it often, I use Hey very often I have left quite a dent in it (You probably cant tel my lighting isn't very good) I use Hey for my inner corner, eyeline, and over Vanilla for a super shimmery look. Its so pretty and if you can find this palette somewhere I recommend buying it if you love shimmery looks! Plus, the dolls are just so fun :)

Innovation Garnier Fructis style Aqua Styler- Review

So I have decided to review a product that I have been using ever since I was little and had ringlets for hair instead of the waves I have now. It says on the bottle (Which I will put a photo of after) that its for long hold (Hense 'Aqua Styler') but its actually a amazing detangler, and that brings us to the reason why I used this when I was small. I had horrible tangled up hair when I was small because I had ringlets (Which straightened out as I got older) so I found some in my house, leading me to another subject/problem, I am not sure if this is still on shelves, the last time I used this was probably when I was around 7 or 8 and I'm 13 now, so I'm not sure. The packaging might be different, I don't know but this is what I have.

I am not sure what its status is on the shelves of now but I know one thing for sure. It is AMAZING!!! I could rant about this stuff for hours, it makes my hair shiny without adding a grease pot looking texture to my hair, It detangles, It keeps my hair in place, The smell (Which is so good) reminds me of my younger days. Its AMAZING. here are some pics of my hair, I dont know if you can tell the difference though

Considering you don't know what my hair looks like normally you probably cant tell the difference but I have been told that my hair looked shinier,YAY GARNIER!!!!  So, I recommend searching for this product and if you cant find it than..tell me because if I run out I might cry :'(

Dove go Fresh anti-perspirant stick in Pomegranate and lemon verbena scent-Review

I am going to be reviewing a dove deodorant. Noe I was very cautious when I bought this, I usually use lady speed stick in strawberry splash (I still do i now use both...I alternate Lol) but I loved the smell and I needed a deodorant for my gym bag, I am very glad that I bought this. Usually I don't go for dove things because they are totally white and powder-y, turns out that's just a biased opinion because that's how the Dove powder deodorant is. Here is a  picture of what it looks like :)

Now it smells amazing and lasts FOREVER!! I'm weird so I put it on before I went to bed and when I woke up it was still super strong, I wore it for gym at school and 3 hours later my friend was saying I smell like pomegranate's.. It works so well and I love it. I strongly recommend it.

I know I'm weird for reviewing a deodorant ....whatever.

MAC Brule satin eye shadow -Review

I have another review for you here, I use this eye shadow as a base before I put on eyeliner or before I put on a different eye shadow to make my eyelid more nude color (I don't have a primer) and I absolutely LOVE it. here are some pictures

On my skin... its on there, I don't know if you can tell

OK so I absolutely love this product when I put it on I love how...bare my eye looks...but in a good way. I am not sure how to explain it but it makes my eye look so refreshed and awake, if your a college/University student and you need something to just make your eye look more bright but something that is super quick then I definitely recommend this product. Even high school students that are up all night studying, VOILA! I don't know what else to say other than if your looking for a nude colored eye shadow, or a non pint pot base than I recommend this product. :) Enjoy

Maybelline The Falsies Volume express- Review

I am here with my first product review and I have decided to do it on my current favourite mascara!!! The Falsies mascara (I'm pretty sure its the old one) heres a pic of the packaging

Ok, so I really love this mascara because it doesn't clump that much, I have really long eyelashes so I just need a few coats (2-3) and I'm set and it doesn't clump on me. I am not that fussy with my mascara like I used to use this stuff

I dont even know who its by, I just found it and started using it because I had nothing else. So I dont change up that much, I'm definitely not one of those girls who orders mascara online and gets it shipped all the way from Japan (Nothing against it) because Japan knows best. I'm very basic. Plus, I have been using MAC mascara the entire time before Maybelline (I'm very biased, and the silver tube things is probably a MAC prototype....my mom used to work for MAC) so I'm not that picky. MAC is a little iffy on mascara and nail polish (Their new false lashes extreme black formula is supposed to be AMAZING) but I still use both (Nail polish I AM picky about) I do recommend buying it, it is NOT water proof but I like it that way, water proof mascara bugs me for some reason, but this mascara is very durable, I do not put mascara on my bottom lashes but I did cry very hard wearing this mascara (Again none on the bottom) and it did not rub off..I got some smudges on my physical eyelid but other then that I was fine. If you are looking for a mascara I reccomend getting the Maybelline collosal ( I think thats how you spell it) mascara instead because it gives much more volume, ( x9) but The falsies is still very very good. I will re-purchase but I will be buying Collosal next.
